Why do people bring their children on holiday? Serious question, Toddlers toddling by the big deep pool whilst their parents smoke and drink, twice today I have jumped up from my sunbed to rescue a toddler on their way to the big pool. The lifeguard has constantly to the toddlers not to jump off the slide as their parents smoke and drink.
Parents scream at their child and the child throws themselves on the floor and screams louder!! Memories of Bulgaria. But seriously these parents don’t want their children with them they are not entertaining them they are entertaining themselves. I have been in the pool and played with Libby.
This morning during breakfast even Libby commented how sad that children were watching phones or tablets with parents mindlessly spoon feeding them as they are engrossed in their phones. How will children learn the art of conversation if no one converses with them?
